Day 144/365
The fires in B.C. have sent their smoke to us in Alberta. It's hard to breathe, and there's a constant haze in the sky, as well as the stink of the smoke. It's hard on the lungs. This is a picture taken of the moon last night (August 19), which is glowing red from the fires. It's amazing how something several hundred miles away can affect us so much. I'd hate to be in B.C. right now. It must be horrific. This shot was taken with a 300 mm lens.

Actually, we just came back from B.C. and there was a clear blue sky and fresh air. It's funny that all though the smoke is FROM B.C., it's cleaner there than it is in Alberta.
ReplyDeleteWoops! I meant to say ALTHOUGH instead of ALL THOUGH.
