Day 150/365

What a sweet car!  This is a real beauty.  Someone parked it across the street from our house, and I just had to take a picture of it.  This was back in the days when a car was actually a CAR!  Not the little bubbles we drive now.  I spit on the bubbles we drive now - ptoo, ptoo!!  I do miss the days of these old gas guzzlers.  This was a sweet ride.  We used to have one, and you could get half the neighborhood into it.  Too bad those days are gone.  *sigh*

  1. Back in the days when you didn't need to wear seatbelts. I wish I had been born in THOSE times. You could sleep in a car without a pesky belt digging into your sides! *sigh*

  2. Oh, grandbaby, you should have seen how we lived in "THOSE times"! No seatbelts, we rode double on our bikes with no helmets, our roller skates were strapped onto our shoes and tightened at the toes with a key, we zoomed down gigantic hills in go-karts made of soap boxes, we did everything we wanted to, and didn't even think about safety. Those really were the "good old days".
