Can you believe that my flowers are still blooming?? With all the lousey weather we've had this summer, I've pretty much given up on gardening. My poor flowers have been drowned, and torn apart by hail, and yet this little day lily has just bloomed. Nature really is amazing. My Morden roses that I bought this summer are blooming again, too. I'm just so surprised at the resilience of plants. It makes me so happy to see these beautiful bright colors in my garden on gloomy days.
Hooray! I guess constant showers can bring up flowers, too!
ReplyDeleteHey, you're a poet! Good one, Grandbaby! :) I brought my begonias in tonight. Don't want to chance losing them to frost. I'm hoping to keep them alive all winter. Just have to keep Bean from eating them!
